Sounds like a new grassroots society needs to be formed. One that doesn't have slick websites or administrative fees attached to their donations.

In my blog I have a crimes section. I post my feelings about some animal abuse crimes and link them right to their Pet Abuse Profile (www.pet-abuse.com). If you google animal abusers, the pet abuse profile comes up in your search. A message to abusers - a potential employer will google your name and find this profile. Do the math from there.

I think we as animal lovers are going to have to "threaten" politicians with our vote and essentially have to bully them into doing their job ie. passing tougher laws. I can't understand why we as a society don't seem to grasp that children, the elderly and animals NEED our protection. Look at how some of the states are having a tough time getting "Megan's Law" passed, a 'no brainer' in my opinion. We need to speak with our votes. I think that is the only way we are going to see changes.

Thanks for your latest updates.

Yes it's high time we all took action. While very heartbreaking to see, these horrible pictures of animal abuse and death..they clearly show the 'reality' of the brutality adminstered upon these innocent victims. As you've pointed out, the violence does NOT stop there...in many cases it is only the beginning of further escalations of violence.

I also hope MORE people finally wake up to this fact and fully understand the importance of valuing and protecting 'ALL LIFE'...be it a companion dog, cat, or human - REALLY......what IS the difference????? These animals all have emotions and feel pain and suffering just as humans do. If someone can knowingly DO THIS to a "feeling" animal hearing their cries of pain and watching the inflicted suffering and CONTINUE ON without emotion or empathy, what is to stop these 'subhumans' from doing this to a human being? Answer: NOTHING, we're next on their agenda.

We have to understand that animal abuse is a wake-up call and RED alert to a person's overall character, their values, and their overall danger to society. I for one will write to our State Governor about these concerns. Again, thanks for your site and compassion for life......
