What a wonderful story and with the hope of a better future for the poor dog who was rescued. it still makes my heart sing when dogs are rescued. However there is something else that need our attention namely all the strays who never get that second chance.This Christmas lots of puppies and kittens were under the tree because despite our warnings and that of others some people just don´t get it. A dog is for life not just for christmas. How manny of those puppies and kittens are going to end up as strays or worse deathrow at some shelter who can hardly cope because of a rising number of dogs being brought in daily. Spay neuter programs are vital. Stop petshops from selling live animals. If there is a demand there will be those willing to make a profitt of the good intentions newspaper ads free to good home is heartbreaking. It is my simpel wish that people would adopt from a rescue or shelter instead of the doggie in the window then those poor dogs might stand a chance.

now that is the kind of story I like to hear. I wonder how E9 got trapped in that building. I am just glad they didn’t decide to demolish it with her in it. She’s a beautiful dog and I bet someone put her there because she got pregnant. I hope she is micro-chipped. I wish nothing but the best for her and her puppies. Kudos to the fire dept. for the rescue.

I think this is great, but I am curious about one thing- how in the heck did she end up trapped in that building in the first place? Did someone put her in there, or did she climb up inside and subsequently became too scared to climb back down? Kudos to the fire department for rescuing her. Burned-out buildings are very dangerous places.

I just love a story like this with a happy ending, good on Stray Rescue and those firemen for saving her, hopefully someone will adopt her and her puppies and they will all go to loving homes!

Randy Grim and Stray Rescue are amazing. Just reading his story and how he felt called to do this is truly moving and heartwarming. It takes people with heart, empathy and desire to make the world a better place to take action when they see action needs to be taken. Thanks so much for getting this out to all of us D. Bless Randy and all those firefighters who went the extra mile a took their duties to heart. What a great ending.
