Passionate when it comes to my canine companions as well as dogs everywhere, it's my mission to raise awareness of any issues that affect them, from their health, food and nutrition and training to their welfare. Canine advocacy is something that everyone who cares about dogs needs to be aware of and we all need to share that and raise our voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Their Loyalty is Unquestioned… How About Ours?

Dogs, any breed, are loyal to the end and so many have shown us that. It is fair for people to decide, because of irresponsible idiots and thugs, wanna-be toughs and gang members, that any breed is not worthy of life??

They stand by us, whether we’re rich or poor… fancy or plain… black, white, red, yellow… young or old… male or female. They do not discriminate. They are our friends and companions.

Can we do and be any less for them??

I’ll Stand By You

I loved your tribute to the loyality of dogs,Irecently had to put to sleep my collie shepard mix dog Keno and the last thing he did was to put his head on my shoulder as to say dad I love you like he knew it was the end, he was 15 yrs. old and to say thanks for being my dad all these years.I loved him and he loved me.

William, I’m so glad you had such a wonderful relationship with your dog, Keno. It’s obvious that you both loved each other very much. My condolences, sir.

Deanna, thank you for this wonderful tribute to the dogs that cities like to ban. It’s so unfair to the breed.

@WILLIAM MARTIN – My heart goes out to you but what a wonderful 15 years of memories you will always have to hold in your heart. Keno will be watching over and loving you. Although only time will help to ease the loss, know that you have an angel over your shoulder.
@Vicki T – I just wish all these breed ban enthusiasts could see this side. I wish the media would spend just a little time showing how wonderful and loving these dogs can be but guess that wouldn’t be controversial enough.
