Everyone knows how vicious and dangerous those pitbulls can be and someone put together this highly enlightening list of ten reason why you just cannot trust a pitbull. Please be sure to take note and keep these in mind, especially if you share your home with one of these “vicious” dogs!
10. They will steal your spot on the couch while you are up getting a soda.
9. They will take the treat you give them and bury in the back yard like a paranoid crack head hiding their stash.
8. They will jump on your bed with muddy feet. Making you do the laundry…again!
7. They will lick visitors with an uncontrolled passion only they understand.
6. They will cause children to smile.
5. They will make you feel horrible for not walking them by looking at you with deep sad eyes.
4. They will look at you like you committed a crime against them if you don’t let them lick your ice cream bowl… and your face
3. They will cause wide spread happiness in large group settings.
2. They will crack you up by shaking their butts so hard you think they are going to snap in half.
And the number one reason why you can’t trust vicious Pit Bulls… [ZOOOOMIES]
1. They will steal your heart like a thief in the night, showing you complete and pure love that only a Pit Bull can show.
Thanks for passing this along Kim, we can all use a smile!

Thank you D for such a wonderful depiction of those vicious pittis!
Of all the pittis I have ever transported, all they wanted to do was give lots of love and kisses, and have the same returned to them. I always loved the way they shake and wag their whole bodies – it is enough to get you laughing and giggling so hard, they just want to crawl into your lap and kiss you to death.
Wasn’t this a great list? It gave me such a chuckle at the truth of it I had to share it. Whoever came up with it did a great job!
Yeah, those vicious pitties! LOL This is definitely closer to the truth for most of the pitties out there.
D.
Wonderful list~they really are cuddle bugs wanting nothing but love.I adore pits, they are no different than any other dog and it is so wrong how their reputation is so distorted. Thanks D,this brightened my day,xo
Glad I could give you a smile Sissy!

The first pitty I ever came across was a cute little thing in our dog park that insisted I throw a ball for him. He had such a twinkle in his eye every time he retrieved it. He didn’t mind my girlie throws.
LOL@girly throws!! All they want is love and attention and the necessities in life. So little to ask for and they give so much in return. Lots of love just for you tossing a ball for him

i have a pit and that list is so true. i just love it when she wags her tail so hard to where i just think she is just going to fall apart. when she gives me my kisses through out the day i need to grab a hand towel because she washes my face each and every time. if that makes her “vicious” then she can be vicious all she wants and i LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT.
Oh my….truer words were never said! LOL
I have a 9 yr old Pittie, named Princess (yes, she IS!). Each one of these are so true in her case.
She is “mama” to 5 kitties and 2 Bichon Frises! LOL One of the Bichons was a puppy mill survivor that had no idea how to be a dog..she taught him well! He now follows rule #10 very easily!
The other Bichon is a foster…and she is teaching him the ropes too! The kitties love her unconditionally!
Pitties are the BEST!
Thanks for posting this…I loved it!
This was fanfreakintastic!
I read an article yesterday where in the UK, some ignorant policitican now wants to expand their Dangerous Dog Act, their version of BSL to include ALL bull breeds. His statements made comments like “gentle phasing out” and “we should be bolder about removing it from circulation altogether”, translated, kill them ALL. Then he said the public could just learn to love the laborador or the pug! It was the most Nazi’ish type of proposal I had ever seen and sickened me to read it and my comments there said as much.
Anyone who has known a pibble knows that this list above is spot on and so true. The worst crime they commit is totally stealing your heart. When will policitians around the globe wake up and realize this?
Bonnie, I don’t think any of these politicians have ever even spent a minute with a pitti. They just go by what the read and hear about how mean they allegedly can be.
I have said it before and I will say it again – put a pit in a crowd of these politicians, and that little pitti will have them eating their words.
Oh these are sooo true!! Around our house we call that butt wiggle the “butt tuck boogie”!! All three of ours have mastered the boogie as well as the sad eyes, and the silliest smiles you have ever seen!!! Ahhhh, nothing like a “vicious” pibble to cheer you up after a bad day!! Thanks so much for sharing!
WOW!!! we should send this to every town in the USA and tell them just how vicious they are. Maybe if we post it around enough people will take notice. It is NEVER the dog, it’s the way people treat them. Sounds like a PEOPLE problem to me. This message should also go out to anyone that owns a pitbull or pitbull mix. I dare any juridical system to tell me how vicious they are once they have spent some time with one. A friend of mine had a pitbull and he was the most loving lap dog I have ever seen. Big ole sloppy kisser if you ask me. They should make the above statement standard requirement to own a Pitbull. Then ask if they can’t live by the above then they don’t deserve to have one.
You forgot one…..when your laying on the couch watching a movie, they will (at least mine does) squirm, wiggle, push their way between you and the back of the couch, then want to strech their legs out straight, shoving you right off the couch, then look at you as if to say….”Whatcha doing down there?”
Yes…Pitties are pretty mean dogs, ya can’t trust’em!!!
I read in a Dog Fancy article a while back that Pits become good natured when their humans spend time working with them and teaching them new things on a regular basis. And that they need to be constantly taught new things to keep them on track. In other words, to keep them busy. It seems to me if I remember right, the article also said that left on their own, they have a tendancy to find trouble. So I’m wondering how much truth there is to all of that. I’ve also heard that it doesn’t matter how much time you spend with a pit, he can turn on you in the drop of a hat. What would you say about a pit who attacks his owner and other people?
Pit Bulls are not only great but fantastic and that is coming from someone who loves them more than anything.
Hey, every thing about Pit Bulls are true. I wish peole who do not like of even hate Pits could forget the “pit” in Pit Bull and forget what they look like.
I dont have a pit but sure wish i did
