Passionate when it comes to my canine companions as well as dogs everywhere, it's my mission to raise awareness of any issues that affect them, from their health, food and nutrition and training to their welfare. Canine advocacy is something that everyone who cares about dogs needs to be aware of and we all need to share that and raise our voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

California has been up to their elbows in Chihuahuas! All over California, Chihuahuas have been abandoned at shelters at an alarming rate. In the last 12 months, animal shelters in the city of Los Angeles have taken in 4,700 Chihuahuas, 1,000 more than the 12 months before that. That’s a lot of little dogs.

Azure, the dog up for sale on Craigslist by her owner, Erin Lup, is now safely in the hands of The Pet Rescue Center. This is the same rescue that donated $5,000 to save her life. Azure is no longer for sale. She will be placed up for adoption.
