awesome story!!!!! but i do say if u have no children, the love of a dog can be the same as the love of a child.,..i never had kids because of my love for dogs..my dogs are my children 100% loosing one to me is the same as someone loosing their child

Equally important Susie, we may in some cases have to worry about getting them back if they get lost or stolen, but we never have to bail them out of jail or pay for attorneys to defend them in court because they did something stupid. If our dogs make mistakes they are innocent mistakes not based on hate or malice.

u’re so very lucky Darlene….my Bear could sense my seizures coming on. she’s been gone for quite a few years now. 1 of my dogs now, Max , knows when i’m gonna have 1. imagine, having 2 dogs in 1’s life that knows when i’m gonna have a seizure. he goes a wee bit nuts! jumping up n down. Bear used 2 just nudge me toward the bed/couch but very insistant.

Well, most everyone knows how I feel about our special little four legged companions, and Darlene is the luckiest gal in the world. I noticed when she put his “jacket” on, Fancy’s eyes lit up. Fancy is Darlene’s guardian angel in fur.

And Darlene, no, the love of a dog is different that that of a child, but remember our dogs don’t ask for money, keys to the car, the latest fashions, etc.; and all they want from us is love and companionship. You are a lucky lady.
