However, don't know one mushroom from another. Sage has NEVER even attemted to test these morsals. Nor has any other dog around here. Have not heard anything re: dogs being poisoned by any type of mushroom. As far as stomping them out Sue, we also have some very rare and indangered speicies of shrooms here, so I prefer to just leave them alone. Wild raspberries, I'm with you.. and blackberries and blueberries... love those!! I used to have strawberries growing at another house I lived and and Jessie would actually sneak over and eat them right off the vines... As much as I love the outdoors, if I see wild mushrooms growing in our path, I stomp them out, just so the boys would not go near them. Like you, I would rather be safe than sorry.
