Well, looks like we’ve got another of those ‘weird’ stories out of China, this time a cat that gave birth to a ‘puppy.’
People in China are flocking to see a pet cat which has reportedly given birth to a puppy.
The cat, in Zhengzhou City, gave birth to four kittens, one of which looks like a white poodle.
“It looks very different from the other kittens, and its mouth, nose and paws are all dog-like,” says owner Zhang Qiming.
“Also, its tail is one centimeter shorter than that of the other three kittens.”
Neighbors are pouring into Zhang’s house to pay the cat-dog a visit, reports Zhengzhou Evening Papers.
Zhang says he has had the cat for more than two years, and she has given birth before but never to a dog.
“I always let her go as she pleases, to date other cats or play outside overnight,” he said.
There’s just nothing more to say! 
how long before a puppy & kitty opens their eyes? i don’t know, but it looks like the eyes are still closed on the puppy & the kittens are open. any ideas?

Actually for puppies it’s around 12 days and for kittens anywhere between 8-14 days. Not making any comment on the validity of this story but you often see some strange ones out of China.
This should not be possible genetically.

That’s BS!!! Agree with Jesper, it’s genetically impossible. They’re lying, the just want the publicity!
