Passionate when it comes to my canine companions as well as dogs everywhere, it's my mission to raise awareness of any issues that affect them, from their health, food and nutrition and training to their welfare. Canine advocacy is something that everyone who cares about dogs needs to be aware of and we all need to share that and raise our voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Never Underestimate a Mother – Funny Photo Essay

A mother’s love is an amazing thing, whether you are human or animal. We’ve heard the stories of mother’s lifting cars to save their children. Well, here’s one from the animal kingdom. A pooch gets its comeuppance when it decides to play with a baby and the baby’s momma is, needless to say, not happy.

Forget David and Goliath, check out the Lab and the ticked off momma Squirrel!

Look at the dog’s face.
This has to be what he is thinking.
“What the heck just happened?
Did I just get my butt kicked by a squirrel?!”

Never underestimate a mother’s love!!

Ha, ha. I love this little scene. Have seen it before and love it every time. Especially the look on the dogs face……priceless. I seriously doubt he will ever try that one again! Thanks D…..nice to see something funny for a change, than sad.

As many times as I have seen this, it always makes me laugh. I think I personally know two labs who would have had their butts kicked by Ms Momma Squirrel! (Buddy would not even try, but Max and Knight – watch it boys!) Thanks D. A good chuckle for me since I am back at work….
