He needs to be banned from ever being around any animal anywhere and stay away from children or humans in general, cruel to animals comes back to cruel to humans.

I have been to this place, I have 3 dogs from him. One is a very sickly baby, while there we saw strays come in that were pregnant, and he tried to sell us one of them for 500,a bit much for a street dog not knowing anything about the father. My little Roxann was a rescue, he told my daughter and I that he just left her to fend for her self he didn’t care whether she lived or died she was no use to breed cuz she was to small, she had phemonia and kennel cough, it took months to get her well and was never really socialized proper and today at 6 is very fearful of just about everything.he had dogs that had their vocal cords cut so as not to bark. he did a c section on a pregnant dog and all the puppies died, he is not a vet. he is a nasty, mean discusting person, and should spend the rest of his life in jail. maybe there he will be taught respect,or get his butt kicked in.

I sure hope they keep tabs in this low life human being so this will not happen again, too bad it has already effected so many furbabies, he should be imprisoned for a very long time!

I will never understand how anyone can do these horrible things to innocent little creatures! They are all God’s creatures and the day will come when God judges these sob’s and makes them pay once and for all. Unfortunately this scum will do exactly what Regena said above, find someone new to partner with and put the license in their name. The authorities that blew this in the first place need to step up and make this right. Lock Eckhart away and issue huge, six digit fines!!!! All these idiots think about is money, so hit him where it hurts and teach him a lesson he will understand. Then, put him in a room with a few hungry dogs and walk away. Of course, “debark” him first!!!!

this scum Derbe Eckhart needs to be locked up. he has been doing this for 20 yrs. he will find someone else to partner with, they will put it there name and he will start again.
which ever agent gave the “all-clear” inspection back in August needs to be fired and fined.

@AIR - Hallelujah! Maybe this story will get the attention it deserves and put some more pressure on PA to get HB 2525 passed without all the amendments that will made it almost worthless! @Kerry - Couldn't agree more, Kerry. And I am pleased that they will be looking into how this hellhole passed inspection after inspection with flying colors. Someone wasn't doing their job... or something even more ominous. @courtney - No, they certainly are not. They look sad and scared. Well, at least they are revoking his kennel license but he can appeal.... hopefully it will stand and he will have to remove all but 25 dogs. Personally I don't think he should be able to have any animals at all!!

I saw this kennels page and it isnt hard to tell that some of the puppies are not happy looking. This kennel must be shut down now these dogs dont deserve this treatment.

This is unbelievable!!Anyone convicted of animal cruelty should not be able to obtain a “license”.(Nevermind breeding of this magnitude shouldn’t even be legal!!)..This is such crap….How many of these monsters are out there passing “inspections”??What’s involved in these so-called inspections anyway??Is it simply the passing of an envelope filled with cash!!!Appeal??To hell with that!!Debark this trash and toss their a– $#%#%@#$*&&**&((&)()&*^&^%&&^$%#@#@!!!”Almost Heaven”…That is such sick irony..I guess they were referring to “Almost dead”!!!…GREEDY BA—-ds!!
