Jess, I saw this yesterday and it just gave me such a happy feeling. Always makes it more interesting when the story is close to home… like the one about the dog eating the passport… LOL And always makes it nice to be able to share good news!

Ha D. I was just going to send this one to you. I get the Reno News every morning on my puter and pulled this one up. Even more interesting, my sister and I were on that highway that day, but later in the day. This is 3+ hours north of where I live. We had to take her parrot to the vet up there (no bird vet near here). Anyone want to come work in Mammoth Lakes as a bird vet? We sure need one closer than Reno! Trooper Brett and this sweet one are going to have a wonderful life together. Finders keepers…..loosers weepers! LOL

Wonderful!!How amazing that this sweet girl was not injured on such a busy spot.But even better that she was rescued by an officer who wants to adopt her.Stories like this really make my day.Thanks D.,I really needed this.Much love and happiness to this little girl and to Trooper Tierney as well.

What a smart little girl to stay out of the traffic! And Kudos to Trooper Brett Tierney, for coming to the aid of this little girl. If her human parents do not reclaim her, I am sure that Tierney is going to make a wonderful dad to this little one.
