If you need a feel-good story, here you go…
A litter of kittens was abandoned by it’s mother in a barn in Battle Ground, WA. Luckily for the tiny babies, they were found safely and introduced to Pooka. Pooka’s a 9-year-old Chihuahua-dachshund mix.
When the kittens started suckling, Pooka’s milk came in although she hadn’t nursed in more than 4 years.
Word is that the kittens are doing great, gaining weight and looks like Pooka’s taken back to motherhood with out a thought.
Would that all could get along so agreeably….
