Important to note from personal experience. Just because your pup is inoculated for Lymes DOES NOT mean they are 100% safe. Lena got a new strain of Lymes disease which luckily was identified because a University of MN vet discovered it months before, every year new and stronger strains are discoovered. What it did provide was some time and good chance of recovery through treatment. She did manage to lose a third of her body weight, did not eat for 6 days nor drink water for 3 and lost some of her bodily functions. This is getting wide spread, not just in rural areas but in urban settings, parks and such. Please be vigilant if your pup is ever outside beyond concrete which is most of us!
