Passionate when it comes to my canine companions as well as dogs everywhere, it's my mission to raise awareness of any issues that affect them, from their health, food and nutrition and training to their welfare. Canine advocacy is something that everyone who cares about dogs needs to be aware of and we all need to share that and raise our voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Driver Intentionally Hits and Kills Two Dogs

More depravity in action! A driver of a jacked-up diesel-powered gray or silver Ford pickup truck intentionally ran over and killed two dogs in Valle Vista, CA about 9pm on Saturday night. This happened in the 44000 block of Highway 74, also known as Florida Avenue, according to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Sedgwick.

Two witnesses told the story of the truck driving down the road and intentionally swerving into one of two large dogs that were running down the road then he turned around and ran over the second dog. He then made a third pass narrowly missing the person attempting to rescue the poor dogs from the road.

Do you know of anyone in that area who drives a vehicle of that description who could be sick enough to do something like that? Next time it might not be dogs, it may be children, your children or a family member or a friend. Don’t take that chance!

The owner of the dogs is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information was asked to call sheriff’s Investigator Kevin Duffy at the Hemet Station at (951) 751-3400.

  • That’s why I am for video surveillance because it will help solve crimes.
I don’t buy this argument that it infringes on our privacy. If we’re on
a public street or location, we can’t argue for privacy. Videotaping
us in our homes and private places like restrooms or dressing rooms
is a different matter. I pray that this killer is found.
