While thousands and thousands of people work hard everyday to turn around the reputation of pit bulls and rehabilitate them and raise them into the wonderful, loving and caring dogs they can be, Tyler Eison works hard everyday to breed and turn his pit bull puppies into vicious killers!!
“These are not normal dogs,” says Tyler Eison, gazing reverently at a litter of seven-week-old pit bull puppies. “I like having very vicious, angry dogs. I’m going to teach them not to like other dogs. I’m going to agitate them, make them aggressive. That way when it’s about business, they are going to be serious.”
What he does to these dogs, the way he trains them to be vicious killing machines are the very reason that there are thousands of pit bulls killed every year, that so many cities are enacting BSL, that people are mauled and killed, that the media has a picnic with the breed. This is why dog fighting, instead of decreasing, is growing in numbers.
Although this is not a recent story, there are people like this, who do this and think like this all over the country. These are the kind of people who invalidate the efforts of those who try to rescue, save and rehabilitate the breed.

Oh, and let’s not forget to mention any human or animal victims that inadvertently wound up at these ‘killer dogs’ mercy!
Good god! What a horrible, HORRIBLE man! This is almost unbelievable, that while we and our comrades are fighting to save these and others just like them, this man not only condones this vicious practice, but actively and agressively (CRUELLY!) raises these dogs to act like this!!! Aughhhh! It makes me so MAD!
This guy is a scumbag and deserves to die. What he is doing to those puppies is shameful and pothetic , he does not have the right to call himself a man. He is a coward. He says he loves his dogs but he does this to them. How have the authorities not been called and this schmucks dogs not taken from him? Someone needs to show this article to an animal shelter.
Samantha, you and me both!! I was so angry when I read this, it was just unbelievable! And he takes so much pride in his work too! He is the kind of person who need to be banned from owning animals, any animal!!
I’m confused on this one. The Village Voice ran this story as a ??? For or Against stance? The story to me puts this creep in a positive light or at the least justifies what he is doing. A shame that his childhood pit saved him and his family from the fire. I live fairly close to Queens, this has me intrigued and sickened that there are people out there in such a tight knit community that put up with it. He certainly is making this into a “cultural, environment” thing. Not doing anything good for his neighborhood, perhaps he should put his efforts into more humanitarian projects like getting the thugs he supposedly needs protection from off the streets. Shame on you Village Voice.

Yes the authorities should be alerted. All of us in animal rescue, we try so hard to turn around the reputation of the bull breeds and have them as loving pets and then this idiot is purposely making them vicious and probably selling the pups to dog fighters. I bet if they could talk they would rather be sleeping in a nice cozy house on the couch. Poor things! He should not be allowed to have any animals and should be charged with animal cruelty! Thanks for giving us more animals to rescue, you moron!
This is truley sickening. My husband and I rescue pits. We own and raise pits. Our dogs are the most loving. We fight for them We fight for their breed survival. I dont understand how and why people do things like this. Just like any animal all they want is love and companionship. This is horrible The authorities should be brought in and something needs to be done. Not should be done but NEEDS to be done. This is no different than fighting the dogs yourself as to you are teaching them to fight and that all in all is part of dog fighting. If something is not done and this man is allowed to continue this shame on him shame on authority.

This guy if a moron. Pitbulls are great dogs. I am a k9 officer. I have a blue pitbull who i use as a narcotics detection dog. I prefer pitbulls over any other breed because of the drive they have to work. That drive should not be used to make them fighting dogs. If this guy wants home security, get a shotgun. Dont let your dog take the risk. Thats what the police are for. How would you like it if you had to fight every day of your life to be top dog. I think this guy should be put away and someone needs to save his poor dogs before he lets them kill each other or someone else. I hope we can get an investigation on this guy because if he is fighting his dogs, i want his ass to be locked up. Go to hell you stupid bitch.

sometimes you have to be aggressive but not like that that is animal abuse to me. those dogs do not desire to live like that and how they grow up is up to the owner but i believe dogs lean from how dogs and people around them and he so he should not be around or be able to have a pet.
Disgusting. Would you raise a child like this (they are living, breathing beings just as pit bulls are)? You deserve to go to jail and be treated as you treat your dogs. Agitate them?
