Coccidiosis is very contagious but is treatable with antibiotics. If not caught, it can infect an entire kennel with often disastrous results. I too pray that the dogs are released so that they can be brought back to health and adopted quickly. That is already an overwhelming number of dogs and when all of the puppies are born.... I have never heard of that dicease. I pray all these (and that's a lot of prayer) dogs and pups find good homes. This is an absolute disaster! And worse, it gives us all an idea of how HUGE these operations are and how many of these poor baby's are going through a living hell! Can you imagine how many dogs/pups there would be in our shelters if they ALL were busted...every one of them across the world? Let alone how many pups are already in shelters now. Well, I guess with the economy so bad and so many loosing their jobs, this could create a HUGE workforce for those in need of a job today (like me). Although, I'd rather it not be that way.
