I think it was sad reading that document and it is disgraceful the girlfriend should go to prison for it no matter whos dog it was or the what the argument was there was no excuse for burning a dog especially one giving birth who had nothink to do with anythink!

First of all I don’t agree with Tying out a dog on a stake in the freezing weather. We need to change the laws. For strict requiremens to own an animal. Irresponsible Pet ownership needs to be stopped. I believe the man that owned MiMI, played a part in this. They have the evidence they need, What is the holdup? Lock your children up, someone like this is a timebomb. This is one of the most disgusting forms of animal cruelty I have ever heard of. POOR MIMI and her puppies. I am glad she is with God and is suffering no more. Put this woman away for good. Charge the owner with neglect.

I have signed the petition “Justice for MiMi” I encourage others to do the same. For Gods Sake get this woman off our streets. This is the most horrendous crime of I have ever heard of. People wonder why I love DOGS more than people. Is it not obvious. God gaves us animals as a Gift. when you destroy and mane what he has so freely given, You spit into the face of our creator. Please Memphis Police get her off the streets before it ends up being one of our children next. I hope she gets what she deserves. She will answer to a higher source. You know it is so true What comes around goes around. I also do not agree with the owners of MiMi, How would you like if you were tied out on a stake in the freezing weather? It is time to put in effect much stricter laws for owning an animal. I myself am looking into advocating this myself. These owners did not deserve MiMi either. This is their fault too. I have no sympothy for them. If that man could not take care of MiMi, He should have never got her. Plus she should have been spayed, He could not support her. How was he going to take care of her puppies? We need to take a hard look at irresponsible pet ownership. Michael Vick was only scratching the surface. Come on Memphis, the city that I love, why do we have to be such an embaressment to the nation, You wonder why we are so made in fun of.

What seems to be the hold up? Get off your can Mayor Herenton!!! I have signed the petition “Justice for MiMi” The lowlife, uneducated, ignorant woman that did this, Is the lowest form of scum, evil piece of crap I have ever heard of. I can only imagine the pain poor mimi went through. How much evidence do you need? whatever happen to circumstantial evidence? There is a high demand for justice. As an animal lover I demand that this woman be dealt with now!!! I hope this woman gets exactly what she deserves. I am sure many people would like to give her what she deserves. People ask me why I love animals, especially dogs more than people. Is it not obvious? God gaves us animals as a gift. This woman has spit into the face of our creator by doing something like this. This is the most horrible crime I have heard of in many years. I hope this woman burns in hell. The poor dog and her puppies, I hope are now in a special place in heaven. There is no way anyone could conceive of the pain and horror she endured before her death. My heart goes out to her owner, because I know he must be filled with grief. Please, someone, take this horrible women off the streets before she commits another crime such as this.

the person who did this horrific crime must be punished! This is abuse of the worst kind…whats next? This person should rot in jail.

I can’t believe that this sick, twisted individual remains uncharged. If Mimi wasn’t there in the yard, I am quite sure the boyfriend would have been doused and set ablaze. Then, we would be talking about a homicide. Now is the time that all animal cruelity cases are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Those that “get away with it”, will just move onto humans. No one is safe. It is time that we demand that animals and humans are to be protected from these a-moral parasites of society.
