Let George Stay – PETITION

This is a sad and heartbreaking story and your help is needed. Please take a moment to read the petition below, then sign it. Help to get the word out by sending it to everyone you know. Imagine if this were you and you were told you had to get rid your your beloved canine companion.

Petition Text;

George has lived with his loving companion for nearly 5 years at Town Village Retirement Community. He has given smiles and warmth to all that have crossed his path. Residents in the community know him by name and look forward to seeing his sweet face and being able to pet or walk him. Just recently a complaint was made to management about his size. Without hesitation management has given George 2 weeks notice that he must leave his loving companion of 10 years. Please sign this petition in favor of George and his elderly companion so that they might stay together and continue to bring not only companionship & love to one another but to many others who have come to know and love him in the community.

let's HOPE this gets as much notice as Gwen n Ratchet. the dogs's been living there for 5 years! did he have a huge growth spurt? i think not. grrrrr, i'm so bloody angry over this, i'm getting a migraine. i'm so angry i could scream so i'm gonna get off here for now till i cool down. thanx for lettin me rant!!!!

jeez- it's not the dog's fault- nor the owners- leave this guy with his family—-he is a child, just like a 2-legged one!!!

DEANNA I JUST GOT THIS STORY ON MYSPACE TODAY SO I'M GLAD YOU ALSO GOT IT. I ALREADY SIGNED THE PETITION ADN REPOSTED IT ON MYSPACE. THIS JUST MAKES ME SOOOOOOOOO MAD. I WISH THIS MAN HAD SOMEPLACE ELSE TO GO.I'M GONNA FORWARD THIS TO ALL THE MAJOR NEWS STATIONS TO THIS IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS RATCHET'S STORY.I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE WHO READS THIS WILL ALSO CONTACT ALL THE MAJOR NEWS STATIONS SO WE CAN GET THIS STORY OUT. IN MANY STATES IF AN ANIMAL HAS LIVED OPENLY WITH YOU IN YOUR APT FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME…AND IT IS NOT MUCH….2 OR 3 MONTHS USUALLY…YOU CANNOT BE MADE TO REMOVE THE ANIMAL…IT MUST BE ALLOWED TO STAY…
THESE PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT DOGS ARE SOUL-LESS…..
JUST CAUSE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM …DO NOT MAKE ONE FOR SOMEONE ELSE…YOUR RIGHTS DO NOT SUPERCEED THOSE OF OTHERS….
