I think every one of us need to take the puppy mills off the market for good by writing the president or taking it to the top Congressional level, Keep writing until we get somewhere. Its so sad that we have to wait for each state to make new laws. I thought child abuse was agianst the law and dealing drugs, why can’t we have puppy mills against the law! All animal control officers say they are trying to stop them, but I think they need to get a lot more serious! I am a owner of three long-haired handsome dachshunds and I would hurt someone if they ever tried to hurt them. I feel for all the poor innocent dogs and its just makes all of us dog lovers wonder what can we really do to get rid of puppy mills.I don’t think is only about pet stores, there’s these loser breeders I think I like to meet someday and then god knows I will have to go on their property and open all cages!!!

@Marcy Becker - I hope people are listening and seeing and getting angry enough to take action. Without action, all the anger and frustration in the word are useless.
I am well aware of the 'Puppy Mill Capital of the East' and have done a number of stories on it as well as the work and changes that Gov. Rendell is doing. I heartily applaud him and his efforts. I know that he will not be able to do everything he wants because of strong opposition but he is going to make sure there are changes.

@Bouvier des Flandres Mom - The more people we can get to work together, the stronger we can raise our voices, the more we will accomplish. I'm proud to be able to lend my voice to those who have no voices of their own. Thank you for further bring this to my attention and for taking the time to build the petition. Let's just keep pushing!

Hopefully through your perserverance all the abuse can be stopped starting with the puppy mills down to horse racing and dog fighting!

I am an owner of an abused GSD goin on 6 yrs,,she’ll be 8 this July 4th. She is my life source.

Philadephia will now have it’s own ANIMAL PRECINCT, keep looking for time and channel on the ANIMAL PLANET SITE…I wrote to Gov. Rendell on numerous occasions to have Philadelphia join Animal Precinct.

Have you ever checked the deplorable conditions of the puppy mills in Lancaster, PA? Please do!
