The Commanding Officer should be demoted and discharged! The dog's not just any animal, it's a war buddy! Cops have K-9 dogs they really bond with. I had a Vietnam vet friend, nice guy, hard worker. Never would know he had any stress syndrome, he committed suicide after a divorce and his dad became senile. All combat vets need the unconditional love and understanding of someone or something like a dog. Too many end up with broken lives after discharge.
