The monsters of Monstropolis, an alternate world, scare small children by coming out of their bedroom closets at night. The screams of the children help power the city. Mike and Sulley accidentally let a small, fearless girl cross over to Monstropolis. And since children are reported to be carriers of disease, having them is dangerous and illegal. The two monsters hide her anyway hoping to just chuck her back into our world with no one the wiser. Of course that is easier said than done.
Lots of alternate plot details – such as company fraud, flagrant violations of federal safety regulations, and sinister experimentation. Not to mention it’s discovered that children are not the poisonous or toxic creatures they were made out to be. They can be quite charming and loving. And their laughter makes a better energy source.
Cute feel good movie. Incredibly funny. Visual jokes only 50-somethings would understand. Both adults and children love it.
But let’s, for the sake of the children, clarify a couple of things.
1) It’s Disney.
2) Monsters don’t look like this.
They look like this:
Behold the latest dregs of society. Preston Odle and Levi Evans.
The two men from Dresden, Tennessee were charged in the torture death of a four-month-old Saint Bernard puppy. The details are disgusting.
“I believe it started out by them kicking the dog and breaking its ribs, then one of them stood on its head and pressed it into the ground. The puppy’s mouth was also wired shut, then they put wire around the dog’s neck and pulled over a tree limb and pulled it up in the air trying to choke it that way,” said Chief Randal Walker of the Dresden Police Dept.
Police stated they believe Odle and Evans tortured the puppy just for fun – to see it suffer. And suffer it did. Four whole hours until it died. They also stated Odle then decided to stab the puppy in the back with a knife.
Preston Odle is 18. Levi Evans is 19.
It’s no mystery to anyone with any empathy, or decency, or brains, to know that young people who start out torturing animals eventually move up the food chain to humans. Just Google and you will find tons of articles on the subject. We’ve written enough about these bottom feeders on this blog.
Our two new bottom feeders, Preston and Levi, have been charged with Aggravated Animal Cruelty and are scheduled to appear in Weakley County General Sessions Court on June 13. In Tennessee, Aggravated Animal Cruelty is a Class E Felony.
39-14-212. Aggravated cruelty to animals; definitions; penalties
(a) A person commits aggravated cruelty to animals when, with aggravated cruelty and with no justifiable purpose, such person intentionally kills or intentionally causes serious physical injury to a companion animal.
(b) For purposes of this section:
(1) “Aggravated cruelty” means conduct which is done or carried out in a depraved and sadistic manner and which tortures or maims an animal including the failure to provide food and water to a companion animal resulting in a substantial risk of death or death;
(d) Aggravated cruelty to animals is a Class E felony.
(f) In addition to the penalty imposed by subsection (d), the court may require the defendant to undergo psychological evaluation and counseling, the cost to be borne by the defendant. If the defendant is indigent, the court may, where practicable, direct the defendant to locate and enroll in a counseling or treatment program with an appropriate agency.
(g) If a defendant convicted of a violation of this section resides in a household with minor children or elderly individuals, the court may, within fifteen (15) days, send notification of the conviction to the appropriate protective agencies.
Punishment: Not less than one (1) year nor more than six (6) years in prison. In addition, the jury may assess a fine not to exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000), unless otherwise provided by statute.
Here is our task:
Please fax or snail-mail the County District Attorney. Ask him politely but firmly to please prosecute these two to the fullest extent of the law. No plea deals. No community service. These two need major jail time and intense counseling.

Apparently Preston and Levi are getting their lumps from all over. Levi posted this on his facebook wall before he locked up his profile.
And Preston is keeping his facebook wall public letting friends, foes, and anyone else comment. And I certainly don’t advise anyone post on his wall (or timeline as they now call it).
Besides being two of the stupidest shitheads I’ve ever encountered, these two are seriously disturbed. Immature Levi? Once you and Preston are in jail, you’re gonna grow up real fast.
