My Mission

Dog Lover & Proud Pet Parent

Passionate when it comes to my canine companions as well as dogs everywhere, it's my mission to raise awareness of any issues that affect them, from their health, food and nutrition and training to their welfare. Canine advocacy is something that everyone who cares about dogs needs to be aware of and we all need to share that and raise our voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

For the Love of the Dog is my small effort to do that. Please, won't you help me!

I was sent this link. I am in shock of this and wanted to see if you saw it. We need to stop this.

I am a foster mom for our rescue. It is a terrible shame as to how many pets are tossed away. We need to start educating the young children that pets are not disposable.

@Peg – I’m familiar with this site and so are many others. It has been reported to HSUS, the FBI and many other authorities.

Conclusion is that it is just a scam, satire, hoax site. That doesn’t make it any the less sick but sadly, it has been up for some time and I know many people have tried to get it pulled down without luck.

Not sure if knowing that it’s not for real will make you feel any better but it is very sick and twisted.

And yes, I do agree, that education is the first step in teaching people to understand and learn compassion and respect and that companion animal are living, breathing, feeling creatures, not something you can get and dump on a whim!!
