Hundreds of dogs living in filth, inches of feces, neglected, in an old school house in Kentucky. The owner, David Howery called it an animal shelter, police and rescue workers highly disagreed. They call Howery a hoarder and charged him with 295 counts of animal cruelty.
“These animals were living in several inches of their own feces in overcrowded rooms with untreated medical conditions,” said Scotlund Haisley with the Humane Society of the United States.

Several dozen of them will be available at the Bowling Green Humane Society this week. Most of the other dogs will be sent to rescue shelters across the country where they will be given a new chance on life.

HSUS…..mmmmm. Hope their aren’t any Breed Specific in that bunch. If their are, they are doomed! Why only 295 counts of animal cruelity, not 300? What about the other 5 animals? Were they Pitty’s and didn’t count? As was said in a Clint Eastwood movie………’Hang em and hang em high’! I’ll supply the rope for this POS AND the tree! Hoarding my arss! Just another case of bold faced cruelity to animals.
They should hang this guy by his *&%#*…..
More places like this need to be busted. As for him that thing is that all he’s getting!! give him a flogging with electric cables
I adopted a dog from David Howery when he had a rescue named Jodi Dogs in Oregon. I have always had a bad feeling about this man and was so greatful that I was able to adopt, Cookie and give her the life she deserves. Cookie has been a member of our family going on 3 years now.
