There no way to account for the sick, depraved workings of some people’s minds. This is one of those case where all you can say is, “Oh my God!” A Klamath Falls, OR couple, Steven Baker, 54, and Kim Baalbergen, 50, have pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of an animal, unbelievably only a misdemeanor.
The couple was sentenced to 60 days in jail, two years probation in which they are not allowed to own any animals and 40 hours of community service under the terms of the plea agreement reached in December for the three misdemeanor counts. That’s a pretty lenient sentence no matter how you look at it especially since the dog, a German Shepherd named Max, lost his life. And he didn’t even do anything besides what he was trained to do, regardless how sick and perverted it was.
Seems the couple had a friend who runs a sex website including bestiality and told them that they could make a lot of money and have fun too. Fun, wow! So Baalbergen performed oral sex on the dog and received oral, vaginal and anal sex, and Baker received anal sex. They also videotaped their depravities and sold them to a company in Amsterdam for $12K
The prosecutor, Cole Chase, said it is the first time anyone has actually been fully prosecuted under the state’s animal abuse law which has only been on the books for a couple of years now.
Max, the shepherd, had to be euthanized.
“Because of the way it was taught to interact with people, it couldn’t be placed in another home,” Chase said.
There are just no words. But one does have to be concerned where their attentions may turn when they are out of jail to get their jollies since they can’t have pets?? Scary thought!

Please write this airhead judge as I have and ask him what kind of stupid sentence was that he imposed on two people that should be euthanized themselves as they are worthless pieces of garbage and insane to be walking our streets. Tell him to get real or get off the bench now and allow a judge with some sort of knowledge regasding animal cruelty to impose sentencings as this dog suffered horribly by these demented people. When Iread this story, I had to run to vomit. There is nothing more revolting than this. What on earth are these scum bags still around??? It would be fitting if these two met some die hard animal lovers in their 60 days in jail and the animal sympathizers "took medieval on their asses". A fitting punishment, don't you agree? There is so much animal abuse going on everywhere and it needs to be dealt with! harsh sentences need to be upheld. People who abuse an animal have no regard for life. That could mean human life also. It is very scary, as I see it a lot here in Ga. the laws are not upheld. People here get "disposable" animals. If their dog dies, for whatever reason, usually neglect, they just get another. Disgusting! These two people are unworthy of anything. They will get their "due" when they are judged at the throne of the Lord!!
Sheri, though I know all these abusers will get their "due" come Judgment Day, I would so love to see some serious judgment meted out to all of them now. I've always been a relatively pacifistic type person but slime like this really brings out the worst in me.

I don't know about a "Judgement" day, I don't believe that there is a God but, I know someone will find out what these two did and their time in jail will be very unpleasant. As a matter of fact I am going to make sure that their cell mates know about their past. Wish me luck…..
Sorry to say this guys, as much as i love my dogs, i have to say i'd rather they did with thier own dog then thier neighbours children.
All be it tho… that said, I am an open minded guy who looks o n all sides to the best of my own limitations.. and have to also add i believe the state should chop off one of thier hands each. Life long bann for keeping pets. sexual abuse register alongside the sick peadophiles. Make them publicy known to face the humiliation.

are you all kidding? forget your social customs and programmed overreactions here and look at what actually happened: a male dog got to satisfy his natural urges in many ways that i'm sure were very pleasing for him while getting a status elevated to that of humans, while some desperate people humiliated themselves for some money consensually. the dog was killed only because of the people who enforced the illegality of this (i.e., those of the same views as all of you on this thread so far!) had this situation been left alone, an animal would have continued to enjoy its pleasurable non-abusive experiences while some desperate people would have kept making money. no one is making you zealots watch the porn, so why impose your opinions on others? that seems like the real abuse.

Growing up I had my interests, yet never got to fullfill them with the family dog due to the fact that he growled at my advances thus nothing happened. He gave me a response to show that its not something he was interested in and I respected it.
Its infuriating how some of you pretend to know animals better than some of us zoos…. You act like all dogs are ignorant children, incapable of grasping basic things. I do not fail to see that some dogs can be "trained" into the behaviors, and into not growling/reacting to your advances as they might normally. People will and do beat their dogs to the point where they will submit to anything you do. In that case though…… is it when they start having sex with the animal that they need to be told something?
Anyone who is going to have sexual contact with an animal in a way that is forceful, likely is already the type of person who likely hits and mis-treats (shit diet, rarely taken on walks, if any), and thus shouldn't have a dog to begin with.

Haters gotta hate, and sadly this is just to taboo of a topic for people to talk long enough/serious enough for all sides of the spectrum to be seen.
You guys only see what you want to thus will never value anything of what we say. Despite, as me and others have, we will continue to try and explain against the waves of hate, how just with all types of colors/sexes/orientations…… that there isn't just one type of person to this entire group. One of the biggest zoo forum websites has damn near a MILLION PEOPLE REGISTERED (over 900,000 thousand!!!). So when you try and judge what is likely millions (as not all zoos are going to have internet, let alone be on that website) of people…. as one mean raping sadistic uncaring person…… is both illogical and impossible.

I live in the uk and I also let dog love me to this extent. I believe the German Shepherd in question was loved more than most of you love your dogs. We all know male dogs have the drive and desire – and lets face it people – he wouldnt have performed sexually if he was uncomfortable or being hurt. Dogs are sentient beings with more simple thought patterns than us, but they too are like us in that they enjoy sex and COULDNT get an erection if they were were in any way uncomfortable or suffering.
I appreciate everyones opinion on this page, but I can only really associate with Bill's opinion. I feel we are of the same mind and sexuality!

Hi,,belive it or not that digusting person (Kim) is my birth mother,,and I made the mistake of giving her Max,, I trianed him as a service dog,, (NOT THAT KIND) he was trained to carry things and open and close doors! Shortly affter I gave her the dog I discovered that she had been molesting my 16 month old daughter, I turned her in but they said there wasnt enough evidence,, I moved away out of that aria,,,about a year latter wile helping care for my dad, who was on hospice, I found out what was happening to poor max,, I seen it on a web site called shawnsfarm,, I turned her in again! This time they did somthing about it! But not as much as they should have,,and unfortunatly there was no way I could go and get Max, I was 9 month pregnant a couple of hundred miles away, and caring for my dying father,, the Klamath Humane society ashured me that Max would go to a special rescue and hopfully get back to what he was originally trained for,, however when I called to check up on him they had put him down!!If I had know they were going to do that I would of had some friends go pick him up and hold him for me,,I would not of kept him,, I would have rehomed him,,I know it wasnt his fault but I just would not have been able to look at him without thinking about that… but I would have rehomed him with some one that didnt know about what had happened,, after at least a year of therapy to help him get past what had happened,, What she did will haunt me forever,, and I thank God every day that it was my dad that won custody of me when I was little and not her
Dogs are animals. people are superior. dogs do not perform heart surgery or drive ambulances. dogs do not sign your paycheck. would you marry a dog? how is a dog better than a roach? is a dog president? did a dog give birth to you? they are for entertainment. human life comes first.
Any one who thinks abusing animals is rare or unthinkable needs to browse beastiality discussion boards where such people share their experiencies, photos, videos etc. most involving abusing their own pets.
