@Debbie Hubbard – Thanks for catching this. I sent an email requesting a correction if they could.
Yes, now Sally will finally have a chance to learn what a dog’s life should be about. No doubt when it comes time for her to be adopted, they will screen prospective families well to make sure Sally will have the best family ever!

Hi – I live in the town where this happened (and provided For The Love of the Dog with the link to the article). I checked out petabuse.com and their map showing the location of this is incorrect – they are showing West Park NY instead of Hyde Park NY (these are on opposite sides of the Hudson River). Hyde Park is just north of Poughkeepsie NY. Can someone ask them to correct the map so we can catch the unbelievably disgusting person who did this? Thanks much…thanks goodness she didn’t die alone in that bin before someone found her. I’m sure these two years of her life have been horrible and lonely and now she’ll learn what life should be about )

@Vicki T – Thanks for letting me know Vicki. I utilize Pet-Abuse.com a great deal and they do a fantastic job. Nice to be a part of that again.
And I also believe in Karma.
Like all of you, I am thankful Sally was found and saved in time and that now she’ll have a chance at a wonderful life. It really is amazing the forgiving nature of these loving creatures.
I hope they find whoever did this, but I seldom hold out much hope. Sometimes the best we can be grateful for is as in Sally’s case, she will never have to go back to the life she once had.

OMG!!!! i just wonder what goes thru these ppls minds. how on god’s green earth can somebody do this? i’m still all for breeding this horror outa ppl. she is such a sweet dog n i do hope we can get updates on her. may god find her a truly awesome forever home with folks who will love her till the day she dies.
hang in there Sally. u’r “real” family is out there just waiting for u…not 2 worry, little 1. hugs…..

Hi group you can look at that face and tell that she is a real sweet heart who ever did that should hang them self in shame that poor dog would nothurt a fly how could anyone ever do this I will never understand and I do believe in what goes around comes back around sooner or later you will anwser for every one and thing you have hurt in your life time …..jeffrey
