I know the shopkeeper, in question over a long period, and he is a decent person.
I think many of the beliefs that Muslims have are good, for example taking your shoes off when entering someones house.
I personally would prefer not to keep a dog as a pet, because I think your house is cleaner without them. That doesn’t mean I dislike dogs, in fact I like all animals.
However I do have a problem with minorities coming to a tolerant welcoming society, and then expecting it to change to suite their beliefs. The shop keeper is not a spokesman for Islam, these are his personal comments, so we must be careful not to blow them out of proportion.
This shopkeeper does sell dog food, liquor, and also porn, and he should take note that many Christian people within the UK are offended by shops selling pornography.
He has made a stupid mistake !, and the biggest fools are Dundee Police for apologising to him !!

Personally we have 5 of those ‘unclean’ dogs in our house and wouldn’t give one up for the world, I agree with everyone, when my ancestors came here it was expected that they adapt to the ways of the USA how come all of a sudden we have to adapt to their ways of life, this is still the USA right? If you don’t like our ways GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM. Sorry I get so angry at having to be so sensitive to their needs and they sure don’t respect ours.

Where in the heck do they get the idea that dogs are “spiritually unclean”? They are loving, trusting creatures who, unlike most humans, do not go around schmutzing up the environment. They also don’t go around stabbing others in the back. As for refusing to allow their luggage inspected by sniffer dogs, they can bloody well stay away from airlines, trains, and other modes of mass transportation that have been attacked so visciously in the past! Let ‘em walk!
