Two Missing Dogs Found Shot to Death, Reward Offered – VIDEO

Luna-EmmaIn Chester County, PA, two dogs disappeared over the weekend; Luna and Emma, young German short-haired pointer mixes disappeared from their home in Pocopson Township. Sadly they were found, shot to death and placed tail to tail next to the railroad tracks in Pennsbury Township a few miles from their home.

The dogs’ owner reported them missing on Sunday night and a few hours later a woman walking around the railroad founf the dogs shot execution style.

“It appears they were shot somewhere else and brought to this location. Awful. Inhumane. I don’t know how anybody could do that,” Officer Cherly Shaw with the Chester County SPCA said.

“There were two dogs placed tail to tail next to tracks,” Rick Britton of the SPCA explained. “These dogs were shot, really between the eyes, at close range.”

The SPCA is investigating this case of animal cruelty and at the moment the only information they have is that a late-model maroon Ford F-150 was seem in the area. There is a $500 reward being offered for information.

“This is a person that we would like to talk to. We’re really appealing to the public to see if we can get any information about this crime,” Britton said.

Luna-Emma1“It’s such an anathema to anyone that feels guilty about not coming home to feed their animal at six o’clock dinner, let alone something like this happening,” says Rich Britton of the Chester County SPCA.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Chester County SPCA at 610-692-6113.

I cannot even imagine how I would feel if someone did this to me, to my babies aside from the fact that I know I would want to do about the same thing to them! Please help by getting this info out in case anyone has any information. This was a heartless, cowardly crime!

Sounds like a vendetta against the owners. They should take care to keep an eye peeled. If they’ll search their memory banks for anyone they’ve had a dispute with…recently or otherwise…they’ll probably be able to figure out who’s behind it. Very sad, and senseless.

If it’s any consolation…and animal shot in that location is immediately rendered unconcious, and feels nothing. So…at least they didn’t suffer, aside from being afraid during their abduction.

I hope they find out who is responsible and drop the legal hammer on’em hard.

omg, I am in tears, and cannot understand why someone would abduct any dog and murder it! This is such a cruel hateful crime, and hope to hell they find the person who did this. If this is not considered murder, probably pre meditated murder, I think we have more problems with our justice system than I care to even think about.

RIP Luna and Emma. You both did not deserve this. There are no mean people at the Bridge babies.

$500 reward, come on Chester County, PA, make it worthwhile. These killers need to be caught. Where these two innocent babies kept outside, easily taken? Or where they “members of the family” kept inside? I don’t understand why society does not understand, realize, that cruelty to animals often turn into cruelty toward humans? Been proven, if they would just take the time to stop looking at a living breathing being as “just an animal”!!

This is sickening and sure does sound like a “I’ll get even with you” act aginst the owners as Tuff’s Pal wrote. I hope the police are involved, not only for animal cruelty but also as some protection for the family. I hope they are able to up the reward money, someone other than the perpretrator knows about this ane a larger reward would get them to speak up.

  • Mom to big dogs!

This is sickening! The person who did this is sadistic and will (or maybe already has) done harm to humans too.
Seriously, what kind of sick person could look into those sweet faces, put again to their head and pull the trigger.
this person needs to be erradicated from the human population; quick like!
Rest in peace sweet babies. healing prayers for your owners too. how devesating!

Oh how horrible!!!! I would just fall apart, if this were to happen to my sweet girl. These two look exactly like a friend of mine’s GSH’s here in my town…..far, far, from PA…thank goodness. I too, agree with Tuff’s Pal. BTW, Tuff’s Pal….we have a campground, 16 miles south of here, called Tuff Campground, right along a creek and positively beautiful!

RIP Luna and Emma…..I’m am glad they weren’s tortured first, as som many on D’s site are. They had to be so confused and scraed though….find that POS and find them fast, before they hurt another family member!

Come on people, if anyone in Pocopson Township is reading this. If you know who is responcible for this, you need to speak up. If you don’t that makes you as guilty as the piece of trash that did do it. May That POS Slime Ball Rot In The Firey Pits Of Hell For All Eternity.
Please if you know who did this or think you know, call. They don’t have to know you’re name, but make the call. Those two little dogs deserve some justice and the low life scum that did this, needs to be taken off the streets, so this or worse can not happen again.

This story just sickened me. Anyone who owns a GSP and I do will know just how gentle and loving these dogs are…this was easy bait. What an awful story. I see on the net that the reward has increased substantianlly to $11 K. I hope it keeps increasing until they get this monster.
