I HOPE EVERYONE AT HRM IS FIRED THEY ARE JUST BEING BULLIES BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T GET THEIR WAY. ACTING LIKE LITTLE BABIES WHY DON’T THEY GROW UP. I KNOW 1 THING FOR SURE IF I WAS FRAN I WOULD BE SUEING FOR THE ILLEAGAL SIZUARE & MENTAL ANGUISH & ANYTHING ELSE SHE CAN THINK OF. I HOPE PEOPLE WILL WRITE OR CALL THESE PEOPLE & START DEMANDING JUSTICE. I KNOW I AM.

Bernice, just think “power trip.” That’s the only thing I can figure. They don’t like losing and are going to try to “win” one way or another. Doesn’t sound much like they give a damn about the dog at all and I always thought that animal shelters main aim was to care for the welfare of the animals. Guess we all know that is too often far from the case.

Susan, I’m not real familiar with all the intricacies of law either, especially Canadian law. I do know that Fran, her lawyer and supporters are trying to do everything they can within the law. Pity HRM isn’t sticking within the law too.

I’ll definitely be keeping the situation updated as much as possible but you can join her Facebook group which is kept well updated.

This whole situation is just so frustrating!

“Bullies” is just the right word to describe these jerks. I’m not too familiar with Canadian government, isn’t there someone further up the food chain who could reign these people in? Maybe someone on the provincial or national level?

what are these people trying to prove? who the hell is in charge of that outfit? shouldn’t the people of halifax be kinda pissed that these people at hrm are abusing their authority? i think it’s time to change the leadership of hrm. i’m off to find a 20 to donate to frenchesca.
