This is so horrible, I can't even bare this myself let alone Fran. You know, animal shelters are supposed to be for abused, miss treated, strayed animals and for the ones that can no longer take care of and I dont think Brindi is in any of those catagories...right...So what I really want to know is how come they are keeping her in a shelter where she is away from her loving owner, when she was not miss treated NOT abused? I think that there are worse situations out there that need to be dealt with. Fran rescued her, brindi is now her best friend and will always remain that way. We dont live in a perfect world, it would be great if we did...BUT WE DON'T. Not everyone gets along and not every animal gets along, we all have our ins and outs,, ups and downs...I have two rotti lab mix dogs myself and I couldn't imagine being in this situation, one is a rescue dog that I got from the SPCA and he is great. Some people may have had a bad past and that goes for animals too, so who do we blame???? Brindi may have had a ruff life before she was rescued, sooo let's correct it and let her go home where she belongs and stop all the pain and heart ache and stress for Fran AND Brindi. I think it may be possible for it to worsen for Brindi being stuck in a shelter for this long with no love. I don't know who we have to speak to or what we have to do to get this out there to be heard but come on this has gone on long enuff don't you think, once again.....LET BRINDI GO HOME NOW.

Thank you all for your wonderful thoughts and ideas and I will be sure to pass them along to Francesca. Someone else wrote me today about contacting 'Best Friends' to see if they couldn't lend their support as well. I know that Francesca can use all the support that she can get right now. My heart just breaks for her, I don't know what I would do if anyone ever tried to keep my away from my babies... can tell you it would not be pleasant.
Hugs to you all for your love and caring!

I am one of Brindi's Angels, from Montreal, Qc. Canada.

A few weeks ago I wrote to Caesar Milan regarding the terrible situation she is in. Unfortunately, I have had no response to date.

Perhaps, other concerned, caring people could also message him?

Thank You!

This is just plain proof of people that just do not care about people and their pets. This is so wrong to drag this out and not allow her to play with her dog. I am stating this as a caring human being who has run a shelter professionally, was a State Humane Officer for seven years and am now retired. I am familiar with cases like this and never kept an owner from his/her pet while holding it for a deposition or any type of decision. It is past time to release Brindi and allow the owner to prove that she is a responsible dog owner and perhaps take her dog to obedience class. There is not a dog that cannot be trained..it is totally up to the owner and I believe Brindi should be given a chance to learn as well as her owner. Holding Brindi in unfamiliar surroundings will not help at all. It's past time to end this ordeal with a happy ending.

This might sound stupid or far fetched, I just hope it isn't too late!

She might call the Dog Whisperer, Caesar Milan. Maybe she wasn't aware that he handles what he call: "Red Line Cases!"

I know how she feels cause I have a German Shepherd rescue who does the same thing Brindi does. She's dog aggressive.

With the help of the Dog Whisperer and following his training skills she is 80% better than what she was when I rescued her.

I don't know if it's too late or what the circumstances
are. I do know that this woman albeit as painful as the situation seems to be for her should have watch Bindi a little more than she had.

I'm sorry to say this, I did sign the petition when I read her story.

If possible maybe Caesar Milan would be able to help.

She can type in DOG WHISPERER from her search engine.

When I take my girl out for a walk and before I take her out, I make sure that NO dogs are around! That's imperative. And if there are dogs walking with their ownders I would take her out and make her sit so that she would that there isn't any threat.

Sorry about the circumstance of this story. It's painful to know your little girl can't see you either.

CALL THE DOG WHISPERER AND HOPEFULLY HE WILL BE ABLE TO
RESCUE BINDI AND TAKE HER AT HIS DOG PSYCOLOGY CENTER.

Try it...
