I purchased a boston terrier from this horrible person a little more than a year ago. He was in the vet the next day and had a multitude of problems. The vet confirmed he was at least 2 weeks younger than we thought and was probably taken from his mother much too young. He was in and out of the Vet on an almost weekly basis for the past year with a wide range of problems including an overnight stay at the hispital, most of which the vet believes stems from his immune system not developing correctly and from whatever puppy mill he was . The bills mounted pretty quickly to say the least but we love the little guy. Thankfully, knock on wood, thanks to a very proactive vet and lots of love on our part, he is a seemingly healthy and VERY playful one year old right now. But we can't help but think that the next illness is right around the corner

I am so angry after reading about this. I bought a collie mix from Vicki in June 2007 for $200 cash. I searched for months to find the perfect "rescue" dog so I could save a dog that didn't have a home. My dog did not have any health issues but does have some behavioral problems, probably from whatever Vicki but her though.

What the hell is wrong with the state of NJ???? Apparently, they don't give a rats ass who starts a new business as long as they get their money.

To Cheryl, sorry, I have been in rescue for years now, and anyone who says they are a rescuer and sells puppies for a profit are not in rescue for the animals, but for the almighty dollar. I would love to put this woman out of business and find a judge who would never allow her near another animal, big or small, the rest of her life. She has no heart for animals. And by the way, yes, it makes one feel good, a feeling deep in our souls when we rescue another dog/cat, who is out of a high kill shelter, and into a reputable rescue.

Mark my words, I am going to check with the east coast DNA/DNR/DNF list and see if this nutcase is on it, and if she isn't, I will post nationwide, not to adopt or send an animal to her "rescue".

wow I am very sad to find out I was scammed and made to feel like I was rescuing a pup in need, when I was just supporting a low down puppy mill scam artist

we "rescued" our dog about a year ago from vicki
he was sick when we got him (giardia) but we assumed it was becasue he was a rescue.

I have very happy a year later to have our lab, but this pisses me off, that this woman is not in jail for fraud

Hi I seen these post ended in 08 but this one is still at it. I purchased a pup for 500.00 out of the classified section of the NJ.com paper. My pup has been very sick. For some reason I did a search after speaking to my vet that new about her and seen these alerts . Wish I would of searched before. It sickens me that I didn't see this sooner. I can't believe she gets away with this and no one is stopping her. She takes the money and runs without even giving receipts and papers that aren't even good. Don't even know if shot records is good. Vet needs to run test. I only have pup a few weeks and my vet bills are starting to add up which she is responsible for. I'm not stopping till she is stopped.

She now has a "puppy van" where she will go to people and let them pick one of her sick puppy mill dogs.

Argh. When will she stop???

Oh my gosh! THANK YOU so much for posting this! I also thought the border collie I adopted from Victoria Patterson had been drugged too when she showed him to me. He was almost normal when I met him and when I brought him home, his entire personality was different. When I talked to his first foster home, she said that she told Vicki NOT to adopt him out to someone who already has a dog (which I do and Victoria met my other dog) because of the BC's aggression issues. Victoria Patterson KNEW the BC was fear-aggressive, most likely drugged him to show off how "nice" he was (Victoria took a LONG time getting him out of that nasty barn she had the dogs in), and didn't care at all about the consequences. What an awful person! I didn't get a sick dog from Vicki, but I adopted a dog that Victoria knowingly knew was aggressive. Who would do that to someone???? Victoria Patterson gives rescues a bad name. I'm happy she was finally kicked off of petfinder and had another one of her websites deleted. She's awful!

I know that woman. She is a terrible liar. Not only did she "fake" this whole puppy business but she also sold "dead broke trail horses". She posted the ads on Horsetopia and pretended that she owned the horses for a very long time and that she is only getting rid of the horse because she has too many (yeah right !).
I took her word. My fault, bought without riding because I had a back injury. Gave the horse to my son for his birthday and .....what a surprise. The horse is crazy, rears and shakes with fear. Our longtime vet told us that this horse must have been drugged to show him to us and mistreated for a long time. This horse is so headshy and afraid that he tore his crossties out of the wall of our barn. No we have an expensive lawn mower.
As soon as she had sold us the horse another one went up on Horsetopia...same story, lies and more lies.
Selling the horse and we owned him a looong time. Funny thing is I know the person she bought the horse from a week before the ad for 400 Dollars. Horse was/is untrainable. Treats animals bad. Big Time Liar.

I have never heard of such stupidity as the last two posts.
I bought the dog - despite pups in filthy pens in a filthy barn, probably had parvo......blah...blah...blah
You are not responsible for picking out a sick dog in what you claim to be disgusting sick-infested conditions?
Unbelievable.
I sure won't be reading any more nonsense on this topic.

I also adopted a border collie from Victoria Patterson last year. This woman is awful! The dog was kept in a dirty barn in a dirty cage. She is NOT a dog trainer as the dog was terrified of her and had absolutely no kind of training or manners. She also lied to me several times (about how she cared for the dog, how long she had the dog, etc.). Awful, awful, awful! And what's worse -- my border collie and the other dogs Victoria comes into contact with suffer! So sad.
