It is great to hear that folks with "money" are using it to help these poor animals. I know it sounds gliche...but although one person cannot save all the animals, even if we help make the difference for even 'one' we've done our part and made a HUGE difference collectively. I'm glad to hear Etana is doing better after her terrible ordeal. I hope someone does step up to adopt her and care for her like a little treasure...after all that's exactly what she is :) As for what is going on in Atlanta, wouldn't it be great if bystanders actually stepped in and went after these punks? Every animal hospital and shelter in our country should have a sponsorship program where there is a fund of monies to provide for the medical expenses for animals that come in and need care. I for one, would much rather see my tax dollars go for that instead of many of the other nonsense programs that our congress supports.
